PTA Reflections Arts Contest

PTA Reflection Arts Contest

The Reflections Program is a National PTA and WSPTA cultural arts competition, the purpose of which is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works.

The Reflections art contest welcomes all grades and abilities to explore and be involved in the arts. Annually, thousands of students reflect on a common theme and create original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.

The 2017-18 theme will be "Within Reach". We encourage our Wildcats to start thinking about entering the contest next year. If you have a great idea and feel inspired, you can start creating your entries over the summer. The deadline will be in the fall (late October). For resources, entry details — including criteria by category — and official rules, visit the WSPTA Reflections website

Winners are selected at the school, district, state and national level. 1st place national winners in each catagory win an expense-paid trip (with an adult) to the national PTA convention and $800.

C'mon Wildcats, let's get creative!
