Annual Give Campaign
For the 2016-2017 School year, our Annual Give Campaign is the primary fundraiser at Whittier. We do NOT have an auction this year, so please consider contributing generously to the Annual Give Campaign in 2016!
Our Annual Give Campaign began October 6 and ran for three weeks; it was a success!
THANK YOU Whittier families! We saw incredible engagement, with nearly 80% participation across Whittier! Students celebrated with an after-school, all-school popcorn party.
We are still tallying final donation amounts but can confirm that we exceeded our goal of raising $50,000. Please join us at the PTA Community Meeting Wednesday, Nov. 16, to dig into the final campaign stats and plans around investing in our school.

How Much Does the PTA Need to Raise?
To maintain the programs, staff, and other offerings the PTA has prioritized, we need to raise a total of $60,000 during the 2016-2017 school year. The target for the Annual Give Campaign is $50,000. Our suggested donation is $100 per child. All donations are appreciated; please give if/what you can. If you can give more than the suggested donation, please consider doing so.
If you donate $250 or more, you will be entered into a lottery to receive:
- (2) tickets to attend Whittier’s inaugural “fun”raiser , a.k.a. the “Spring Fling”, and
- Premium seating and a family snack pack for the Winter & Spring Movie Nights.

All donations are 100% tax deductible. You will receive a receipt and letter from Whittier after you’ve submitted your donation, which can be used for tax purposes.
