    Here are some clarifications and explanations to the schedule: 

    • 5 x a week 30 minute live SEL (Social Emotional Learning)  lesson - 8:30 AM for everyone with their homeroom teacher. 
    • 5  x a week 1 hour literacy lesson - which will be a combination of live, small group and/or  asynchronous (See Saw Activity (K-4)/Schoology (5) Independent Reading, Independent Writing activities)  It will always start with a live lesson component. 
    • 4 x a week 1 hour math lesson - which will be a combination of live MS teams lesson, small group and.or asynchronous learning (See Saw (K-4) Schoology (5) Activity, Math Game, Work Book Activity)  It will always start with a live lesson component. 
    • 4 x a week 30 minutes Science/Social Studies lesson - which will be a combination of live MS Teams lesson, small group activities, See Saw (K-4) Schoology (5) and/or asynchronous learning.  
    • 4 x a week 50 minutes of Art, PE or Performing Arts lessons - classrooms will rotate for live classroom lessons with the specialists.  Students will engage in activities on See Saw (K-4)/ Schoology Lesson (5) on days they do not have a live lesson.  
    • Wednesday - Specialist/Library School Wide Assembly  - K- 2 and 3-5 Assembly 45 Minutes 
    • Small group rotations will occur for an hour every day. Please know, your child will not receive small group instruction every day.  Your teacher will create the small group rotations during the designated times.  
    • If you qualify for Specially Designed Instruction, your IEP/ELL or Reading Specialist Teacher will schedule small group lessons during small group time or the last half hour of whole class instruction.
    • Recess, Lunch and Independent Work will not be supervised by a live instructor. 

    Teachers are receiving PD and thinking about how to incorporate movement, brain breaks and fun throughout these sessions.
