    THANK YOU WHITTIER COMMUNITY

For your generous donations to the Helping Hands campaign. Thanks to you we raised ~$4,000 worth of gift cards and collected small items like, gloves, hats, socks and some books from Book Fair. These donations went to families-in-need at Whittier and Bailey Gatzert schools. Thank you for brightening these families’ Holidays.

This annual event is our way of helping Whittier and Bailey-Gatzert Elementary families in need during holiday season. These families are hit hard by a rising cost of living and are in need of basic daily supplies. Therefore, we are focusing on giving them gift cards or small items this year.

From December 2nd to December 13th, our Winter Wonderland in the lobby will be full of mittens for gift card donations for groceries and other necessities, as well as a stocking to collect small item donations such as socks, gloves, hats, etc. The preferred stores for gift card donations are Walmart and Safeway. Other great choices are Target, Bartell, Fred Meyer.

Please extend a "Helping Hand" to make the holidays special for these families.
