This year, Seattle Public Schools is rolling out our biggest effort to prevent illness. School nurses have partnered with the Visiting Nurse Association to come to approximately 50 schools in November and early December to vaccinate both students and staff. Students can get the vaccination regardless of insurance.

The date for Whittier Elementary is set for November 14th, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

If your registered your child using a "Healthy Schools" consent form at the start of school, we have had a change in providers and you will need to complete this new form: Seattle Visiting Nurses Consent Form. Please fill out the form completely and returned it to school as soon as possible, if you choose to have a flu shot for your child. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the change of vendors. The form is also available at the Whittier front office.

Email “Nurse Joan” our School Nurse or call 206-252-1697 with questions.
