    Good Afternoon Whittier Wildcats!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  Whittier Wildcats and staff are respectfully sharing a terrible cold around.  Please make sure everyone in your family is getting lots of rest and washing your hands regularly. The vacation will be more enjoyable if everyone can stay healthy.

I hope you are able to spend some quality family time during break.  There is a lot of excitement and activities during winter vacation.  We hope you or an older family member are able to read with your child everyday.  It is also important to provide a structured time for you and your child to read or look at  books independently.   Scheduling thirty minutes of quiet reading time every day will be a nice relief for everyone in the family.

My family usually engages in board games during break.  I am including some websites that promote games that develop number sense and mathematical reasoning in a fun way. You can still play your favorite board game but you may want to try out a new game this year.  I hope these links work.

Please remember on Friday we will be release at 1:25 PM.
