WSPTA Reflections ProgramThe Reflections Program is a National PTA and Washington State PTA cultural arts competition. Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works.

Whittier students create original works of art in response to a theme. The theme for the 2020-21 program year is I Matter Because… Students submit their completed works of art in one, or all, of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts. Participation is organized by student age and grade levels. Student works are critiqued against others in the same grade division. This allows recognition and judging of artworks by appropriate developmental age and skill levels.

Entry forms will be coming home with your child, and there are more in the main office. Tables and art supplies will be set up under the covered area outside the gym on several early release Wednesdays (weather permitting) October after school to help students with their art pieces.
